مایکروسافت در BUILD 2017 اطلاعات جدیدی در باره‌ی نسخه‌ی جدید نرم‌افزار مدیریت دیتابیس خود ارائه کرد که در آن پشتیبانی از لینوکس به چشم می‌خورد. تا پیش از این SQL Server تنها روی ویندوز قابل نصب بود. امکان نصب SQL Server 2017 CTP 2.0 روی سیستم‌عامل‌های Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server و همچنین Ubuntu فراهم شده است. همچنین امکان استفاده از SQL 2017 از طریق موتور Docker روی لینوکس و مک وجود دارد تا توسعه‌دهندگان در محیط ایزوله بتوانند سرور SQL را در سیستم‌عامل‌های مختلف اجرا کنند. برای نصب SQL Server 2017 روی لینوکس باید حداقل ۳.۲۵ گیگابایت حافظه‌ی رم داشته باشید؛ اما موتور این نرم‌افزار می‌تواند تا یک ترابایت حافظه‌ی رم را نیز مدیریت کرده و همزمان از تمام آن استفاده کند. برای کسب اطلاعات بیشتر و نصب نسخه‌ی پیش‌نمایش SQL Server 2017 روی لینوکس به وب‌سایت مایکروسافت مراجعه کنید.

About the Author
