ASDM یا همان adaptive security device manager نرم افزاری است که با کمک launcher آن ، امکان مدیریت و کانفیگ فایروال های ASA سیسکو در محیط گرافیکی وجود دارد ، که سیسکو برای سهولت در مدیریت و مانیتورینگ و کانفیگ فایروال های ASA ، نرم افزار asdm را ارائه نموده است . asdm بر روی پلتفورم JAVA نوشته و پیاده سازی شده ، لذا شما برای نصب و اجرای launcher آن نیازمند Java SE Runtime Environment JRE  میباشید.
